VFW Fall Baseball 2021

This year we will be doing Fall Ball by age groups again. Students in grades 9-12 will be practicing on Tuesdays and Thursdays while the younger group, grades 7-8, will practice on Mondays and Wednesdays. Starting time for practices during the week will be 6:00 PM. (this may be adjusted at times).

First practice for the 9-12 group will be on Tuesday, August 17th at 6:00 PM. All practices will be held at the Lawrence Twp Rec Park. There will be a $30.00 registration fee charged for all participants. This need not be paid on the first night, but any checks should be made out to “Clearfield Baseball Association”. The fee is necessary to help defray the cost of caps, shirts, umpires, and baseballs.

First practice for the younger group, grades 7-8, will be on Wednesday, August 18th at 6:00 PM The Fall Ball program is intended to be an instructional program, but there will be some games. It is sponsored by the VFW Post 1785 and includes only Clearfield Area School District students. The program is especially important for those who are just finishing their Little League careers so that players can become adjusted to the bigger field. This will be really helpful when they make the jump to Teener League next Spring.

We hope you will join us in Fall Ball this year. For those in grades 9-12 we will see you on Tuesday, August 17th at 6:00 PM and for those in grades 6-8 we hope to see you on Wednesday, August 18, at 6:00 PM.
