Clearfield Baseball Hosting Four Youth Tournaments in 2017

The Clearfield Baseball Association will be hosting a series of tournaments in the month of June this year for various age groups. The tournaments will be held primarily at the Lawrence Township Recreation Park, located on Firetower Road, with some games being played at Clearfield Area High School. Entry fee for all tournaments will be just $250 plus one dozen baseballs. There will be a 4 game guarantee. Six teams will be accepted for each tournament. You may hold your spot by sending a $100 deposit. Checks may be made out to Clearfield Baseball Association and mailed to Sid Lansberry, 411 Turnpike Ave., Clearfield, PA 16830. Teams will be required to provide an insurance certificate. The Rec Park is a beautiful facility with concession stand, picnic pavilions, and restrooms available. Since it’s opening in 2001, several state and regional tournaments have been held there.

Clearfield is located at Exit 120 off Interstate 80 in Central Pennsylvania, There are many, many motels available close by. The fields being used are just two miles apart.
