Rams Defeat Bison 4-3 in Extra Innnings

Despite a strong pitching performance by Zane Morgan, the Bison dropped a heart-breaking loss in eight innings to Penns Valley in a game played at Spring Mills on Friday. The visitors scored runs in the 6th and 7th innings to build a 3-1 lead going into the Rams last at bat. With 2 outs, they were able to tie it up and when the Bison failed to score in their half, Penns Valley squeaked out the victory.

Jake Sorbera and Ty Bender had the only RBIs for Clearfield. Sorbera took the loss in relief of Morgan.

The Bison next will host Philipsburg-Osceola on Monday at 4:30.
