Bison Open With Big Win Over Central, 11-5

Senior pitcher Brandon Orsich pitched a complete game against the Central Scarlet Dragons to lead the 2016 Bison squad to an opening day win at a cold and blustery Bison Sports Complex. The Red and Black jumped out to a 3-0 first inning lead thanks to a homerun by catcher Zane Morgan. After a couple of shaky innings early on, Orsich settled down to blank the Dragons over the last four innings, while the Bison offense continued to begin their lead. Freshman Ty Bender collected 4 RBIs with a homer and double, while Orsich helped himself with two hits of his own. Second baseman Justin Fedder also had two hits.

The Bison next welcome the Huntingdon Bearcats to the Bison Sports Complex on Friday, April 1st.
