Bisons Make 7th Inning Comeback Again

For the second night in a row, the Bisons overcame a two run deficit in the bottom of the seventh, defeating Tyrone in a 3-2 thriller. After being held in check through 6 innings, the home team rallied for three quick runs stunning the Golden Eagles. Erik Sellers started the uprising by reaching on an error. Will Myers doubled to the gap in left center, putting runners on second and third. Pinch hitter Marcus Luzier walked on a 3-2 pitch to load the bases. Lead-off hitter Josh Sorbera slapped a sharp single to left, scoring one run. Spencer Herrington's ground ball to short resulted in a force out, but Myers scored to tied the game. Thomas Summers stepped to the plate and promptly launched a deep sacrifice fly to center, scoring pinch runner Justin Fedder with the winning run.

Spencer Herrington got the win on the mound with two innings of relief. Tommy Hazel pitched 5 innings of shut-out ball in his first varsity start.

Clearfield raised its record to 10-2 and will host Penns Valley on Wednesday.
