Bisons Shut Out Eagles, 3-0

Thomas Summers stymied a potent Bald Eagle offense with a strong 4 hitter at the newly renovated Wingate field. He struck out 8 batters and walked only two as the Bisons played errorless defense. It was Summers’ second complete game shutout of the season, as he stopped Central 2-0 back on March 23rd.

BEA pitcher Jason Jones also threw well, holding the Bisons to just 5 hits. But clutch hitting by Spencer Herrington and Josh Sorbera enabled them to scratch out three runs.

The win raises the Bison record to 5-1 in the Mountain League and 6-2 overall. The Huntingdon Bearcats will visit the Bison Sports Complex on Monday, April 20th for their next league contest.
