Annual World Series Closes Out Fall Ball Season

After dropping the first game of the five game series, the Chimichagas team, led by player-coach Dan Collins, roared back to defeat the Toxic Bunnies in four games. The bunnies, under the leadership of Logan Lykens and Tommy Hazel, opened the series with an impressive 5-1 win. However, after that it was all Chimichagas, as they registered three straight victories by the scores of 19-5, 11-3, and 9-0.

Leading hitters for the champs were Will Myers (6 hits, 4 doubles, 4 RBIs), Dan Collins (5 RBIs, HR), and Jon Trimpey (4 hits, 6 runs). Marcus Luzier (4 RBIs, HR), and Cole Kephart (3 RBIs, HR, double) led the Toxic Bunnies offense.

Over 30 different players participated in this year’s World Series, which annually closes out the Fall Ball season.
