Bisons Lose Opener to Huntingdon 7-6
The Bisons opened the season at Huntingdon, losing a heartbreaker to the Huntingdon Bearcats on the Juniata College Field.
The hosts scored an unearned run in the bottom of the sixth to edge the Bisons 7-6. The Clearfield offense outhit the Bearcats 10 to 7 with Thomas Summers driving in 3 runs on 3 hits. Curtis Collins doubled and singled and Cole Kephart added two hits.
Jon Janocko was the tough luck loser after relieving Summers in the 4th. Hunter Price was the winning pitcher.
The Bisons travel to Bald Eagle Area on Monday, March 31st. Eight of their first nine games are on the road.
