Bisons Late Rally Falls Short

One bad inning again led to the Bisons demise, as they fell behind early, trailing 11-3 going into the 7th inning. But a furious 6 run rally brought them within two when the game ended on a long fly ball to center with the tying run at the plate. A shoddy Bison defense got lefty Thomas Summers in trouble in the 3rd inning. Summers actually pitched well, surrendering only two earned runs. Wyatt Westen had a good day at the plate, drilling a double and a triple. Summers helped himself with two hits, while Cole Kephart added two RBIs. Clearfield outhit Central, 11-9.

The Bisons travel to Central Mountain on Monday.
