Bisons Drop Tough One to BEA, 5-4

The Eagles narrowly escaped a major upset at the Bison Sports Complex by coming up with a two out run in the 7th inning. Bison pitchers Jon Janocko and Devin Jones stymied the powerful BEA offense except for a big blow by Logan Reese, who delivered a 3 run homer in the fifth inning. The Bisons battled back with 3 runs in the bottom of the 6th off of hard-throwing Jon Romine. Key hits by Cole Kephart, Thomas Summers, and Wyatt Westen fueled the rally. The Bisons played pretty solid defense against the league-leading Eagles.

Clearfield travels to Central tomorrow to take on the Scarlet Dragons, who are in second place in the Mountain Conference.
