Bisons Defeat Huntingdon, 15-5
The Huntingdon Bearcats jumped on the Bisons for 5 runs early, but the home team battled back with 5 runs of their own in the bottom of the second and never looked back in their mercy rule win. Veteran pitcher Wyatt Westen registered the complete game win despite surrendering 12 hits. He kept his poise through the early going and actually got stronger as the game went on. Left fielder Curtis Collins had a big night with 2 hits and 5 RBIs. Jon Janocko continued his hot hitting with 4 RBIs and Westen helped himself with 2 hits. Lead off hitter Spencer Herrington was on base five times, scoring twice. Designated Hitter Josh Kennedy scored 3 runs.
The Bisons host Bald Eagle Area on Thursday, then travel to Central on Friday.
