Mounties Defeat Bisons in Slugfest

The Philipsburg-Osceola Mounties came to Clearfield with their hitting shoes on as they pounded out 14 hits. Tanner Lamb led the Mountie hit parade with 4, while Matt Carpin and Mark Curtis combined for 5 more. Jon Janocko had a great day at the plate for the Bisons with 3 hits, including 2 homers and 3 RBIs. Spencer Herrington had 2 of the Bison hits and Wyatt Westin added an RBI single.

The 15-8 contest took well over 3 hours with Nick Gray picking up the win for the Mounties. Thomas Summers was the losing pitcher.

The Bisons host the Central Scarlet Dragons on Friday.
