Bisons hang on for big win over Eagles
After a four game losing streak, the Bisons put together a solid game to defeat BEA 7-4 at Wingate yesterday. Kyler Kephart recorded his second varsity win on the mound with a solid effort. Tiring a little in the seventh, he was relieved by Wyatt Westen, who shut the door on the Eagles by retiring three hitters in a row for the save. The entire lineup contributed to the Bison offense, who delivered 13 hits in the contest, all of them singles. Westen drove in three runs with two hits while Tanner Ogden,Ronny Ogden, Thomas Summers, and Kephart also had two hits.
It was an important win for the Bisons as they have a big week coming up, facing Juniata at home on Monday, traveling to Huntingdon on Wednesday, and making the long trip to Central on Friday.
