Bisons fall 36-22 in Slugfest with Central
The Scarlet Dragons and the Bisons combined for an unbelievable 10 homers on a cold, windy day at the Bison Sports Complex. The record setting slugfest resulted in a football-like score of 36-22, a disappoint setback for the Bisons, who had won 3 straight. 2010 state runners-up Central lived up to it’s billing by hammering Bison pitching all day. The Bisons bats kept pace, trailing by only two runs going into the 6th inning (24-22), but 12 Dragon runs were too much to overcome.
Drew Brown homered twice for the Bisons, while Derek Danver and Andrew Redden hit one each. Designated hitter Steve miler and third baseman Tyler Jacobson had 3 hits each. Danver had 4 RBIs while Christian Lezzer had a 3 run triple.
The loss evened the Bisons record at 4-4.
