Bisons Blast Brookville With 16 Hits
The Bisons hot hitting continued in a 15-2 win over Brookville at the Bison Sports Complex. Monster games by Andrew Redden (5 hits) and Jarrett Fulmer (4 hits) ignited the offensive surge, while Coleman Kubala and Steve Miller added two hits each. Four “big flies” left the park. Derek Danver’s first inning homer put the Bisons ahead, Steve Miller slammed one in the second inning, and Andrew Redden’s Grand Slam ended the game. Ryan Zimmerman, Brookville’s right fielder, connected for a solo smash in the 5th inning. Bison senior righty Trevor Flanagan went the distance striking out 6 and walking 5. He allowed only 4 hits.
The win raises the Bison record to 4-3 with two more home games this week. Central Friday and Indian Valley on Saturday.
