Bisons Shock Dubois With 6th Inning Comeback
Clutch two out, two run singles by Justyn Knepp and Matt Lonjin capped a 7 run outburst in the 6th inning that enabled the Bisons to defeat rival Dubois on Monday night at the Bison Sports Complex.
Bison starter Trevor Flanagan went 5 strong innings before giving way to Tyler Jacobson, who pitched the 6th and was the benefactor of the outburst, picking up his first varsity win. Closer Chad Zurat nailed down the save.
Andrew Redden led the offense with three hits, including a homerun. Jacobson added two hits.
The victory counts in both the CPL and D9 standings.
