May 20th – Bisons Defeat St Marys, Advance to District Finals

The Clearfield Bisons and the St. Marys Dutchmen hooked up in another nail-biter with the Red and Black coming out on top 5-4 in eight innings. Matt Lonjin scored the winning run on Tanner St Clair’s deep fly to center field. Parker Herrington earned the win in relief of starter Corey Bookhamer. Both pitched well in limiting the Dutch to just 3 hits. Bookhamer led the offense with a double and two singles, while Kyle Timchak and Jarrin Campman had two hits each.

The Bisons will face the Punxsutawney Chucks for the AAA District 9 Title on Wednesday at a site and time to be named.
