May 14th – St Mary’s Ekes Out 6-4 Win Over the Bisons

In a see-saw 8 inning thriller, the St. Mary’s Dutchmen hung on for a 6-4 win, denying the Bisons of an outright claim to the North Allegheny Big School Division League Title. Clearfield, Dubois, and Punxsy ended up in a 3 way tie, all with 7-3 records. Parker Herrington was the hard luck loser despite surrendering only 1 hit in 4 ^1/3 innings of relief work. Chad Zurat had kept the hard hitting Dutch at bay into the 4th inning in his first varsity start. Derek Danver led the Bisons offense with a double and a single.
