April 27th – Bisons Get Big Win Over Dubois

Sophomore Trevor Flanagan picked up his first varsity win as the Bisons defeated the Dubois Beavers 14-7 in their 2009 home opener. Flanagan survived an early homerun barrage and settled down for victory, pitching 42/3 innings against a very strong Dubois lineup. Parker Herrington earned a save with 22/3 innings of scoreless relief. Big hitters for the Bisons were Jarrin Campman, Kyle Timchak, Derek Danver, and Herrinton with two hits each. One of Herrington’s was a 3 run homer that put the Bisons ahead to stay. Campman had 3 RBIs, and Danver and Tanner St. Clair scored 3 times. Casey Clinton, Nate Sabados, and Garrett Peterson homered for Dubois.
