April 24th/25th – Bisons go 1-1 at Curve Classic

Hollidaysburg 10, Clearfield 6

A rough 6th inning against the Hollidaysburg Golden Tigers led to a 10-2 setback for the Bisons, preventing them from repeating as champions of the Altoona Curve Classic tournament on April 24th & 25th. Michael Moyer took the loss despite surrendering only 1 earned run as the Bison defense committed 6 errors. Tanner St. Clair and Corey Bookhamer had 2 hits each, while Justin Hoffman drove in both runs.

Clearfield 11, Cambria Heights 1

The Bisons came back strong on the second day of the tournament by defeating Cambria Heights 11-1 in 5 innings. Bookhamer pitched a strong one-hitter with 6 strikeouts. St. Clair had 2 hits again and catcher Matt Lonjin had a big day with 3 hits. Parker Herrington scored 3 runs.
