April 18th – Punxsutawney

Bison lefty Trey Wallace pitched a real gem tonight, defeating a very good Punxsutawney team 6-2 with a complete game victory. Wallace struck out 5 and walked none in his first win of the season, after several outings in which he had pitched well with little run support. Designated hitter Kurt Miller provided much of the support tonight with 3 hits and 2 rbi’s. Max Condon and Brandon Evans added two hits each. Each of them had a double, as did James Zimmerman. It was a big win for the Bisons, as it counts as both a CPL game and a District Nine seeding contest. Clearfield next travels to Huntingdon on Thursday for a 4:30 game.
