April 14th – Lewistown

The Clearfield Bisons outlasted the Lewistown Panthers 11-8 last night in a rain-delayed game at Rec Park in Lewistown. Brandon Evans was credited with the win in relief of lefty Trey Wallace. James Zimmerman led the Bisons with three hits and three runs scored, while Shane Davis scored four times. Other hitting stars for Clearfield were Evans with a homerun and Kurt Miller and Adam Jury with two hits each. It was the first CPL victory for the Bisons and brings their over-all record to 4-2-1 for the season. The next scheduled game is Tuesday at Punxsutawney. Game time is 4:30 PM.
